So for New Years (& to celebrate his birthday) Papa bought rocket kids & spent two days building & launching rockets. Day one was fun but a lot of work. It is amazing how much effort & energy it takes to get everything right on them. Davin "HELPED" by running around like crazy & grabbing rockets when the paint was still wet. Day two was just pure fun (all except the part where we were right in the flight zone of the airport & I was very stressed to be launching rockets where we could see the airport tower). Dason's was a 2 stage rocket and his definitely went the furthest up. It took FOREVER to get back to us. Once Dason even lost track of which one was his because the next few came down before his. Brooklyn's was great looking and also a fabulous flier. Very straight flier. Braden's was the best to look at. Very fancy rocket (almost $60). It was awesome to watch take off. It sounded great & you could really see it go! What a super day!

Sleepy!

So It's gotta happen at some point or another during the life of every child of mine. I put Davin in his high chair and he was asleep within a minute. Knew he was tired but figured he would be more hungry. Proven wrong! Love these pics!

Down goes the tree

So I finally got around to taking down the Christmas tree. It's not that I didn't have time. I just truly didn't want to put the effort into it. This is the treasure that I found IN the tree. Okay so a few of them were under the tree but the majority were in it somewhere. Don't know whether to blame it on Davin or the teenagers. Love em all so I guess it doesn't matter!

Davin

Davin is at the age where he loves to help, He loves closing doors & he can finally reach the door handles. He obsesses over it. Even if you aren't finished looking in the fridge, he's closing it on you whether you like it or not. He also LOVES to vacuum. I went on a cleaning spree today & he would not leave the vacuum alone. I would turn it off, he would turn it on. Repeat over and over! Hopefully he keeps it up forever & his wife will love me.

Halloween 2009

Another candy fest has come and gone and now we get to suffer the ill effects til we decide to do something about it! Probably never. BamBam (Davin)was a hit. His best friend and cousin Sydnee was Pebbles. Dason was a mummy for school but was a ninja for trick-or-treating. Where's the picture? Who knows!?? Brooklyn was a zombie. Braden wore a kiss mask for about 10 minutes. No pictures of him either!

Balls, balls everywhere! Which one should I throw first?

Davin loves balls but especially footballs. Yes, he does throw left-handed.
